Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ZED.Automation LinkedIn Post Writer service ("Service") operated by ZED.Automation ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service

ZED.Automation provides an AI-powered LinkedIn content generation service that creates professional posts and accompanying images. The Service is accessed through iPhone/Mac Shortcuts and requires a user account and API key.

2. User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service

  • One account per email address (email normalisation prevents duplicates)

User Key and Access

  • Upon registration, you receive a unique user key for API access

  • You are responsible for keeping your user key secure

  • Sharing your user key with others is prohibited

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse

3. Service Usage and Limitations

Usage Limits

  • Free tier: 20 posts per account

  • Additional usage may require upgrading to a paid plan

  • Usage limits reset according to your plan terms

  • Excessive usage may result in temporary service restrictions

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory

  • Create spam, misleading, or fraudulent content

  • Violate intellectual property rights of others

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service

  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorisation

  • Generate content that violates LinkedIn's Terms of Service

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you input into the Service

  • You grant us a license to use your input to provide the Service

  • You are responsible for ensuring your input doesn't violate others' rights

Generated Content

  • AI-generated content is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy

  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before publication

  • We do not claim ownership of AI-generated output

  • You acknowledge that similar content may be generated for other users

Our Intellectual Property

  • The Service, software, and underlying technology remain our property

  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology

  • The ZED.Automation brand and trademarks are protected

5. Payment Terms

Pricing

  • Current pricing is available on our website

  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated

Billing

  • Payments are processed securely through third-party providers

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled

  • Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase (Australian Consumer Law)

6. Service Availability

Uptime

  • We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime

  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible

  • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

Modifications

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time

  • We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes

  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with:

  • OpenAI (content generation)

  • DALL-E (image generation)

  • AWS (hosting and storage)

  • Other service providers as needed

These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies that also apply to your use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, condition, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability is limited to:

  • Re-supplying the Service; or

  • Paying the cost of having the Service re-supplied

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Termination

By You

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us

  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately

  • We will delete your data according to our Privacy Policy

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

  • Abuse or misuse the Service

  • Fail to pay applicable fees

12. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Disputes

  • We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication first

  • If needed, disputes will be resolved through the courts of Queensland, Australia

  • Both parties consent to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

  • We will post the updated Terms on our website

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date

  • Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms

  • For material changes, we may provide additional notice

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
